Welcome to my web pages. They were created initially over the Christmas break 1998 for something to do ( In between ringing the odd peal ) and I have been adding to them as time goes on. I have recently taken the site to bits for the second time and reconstructed it to bring it up to date.. I hope that you enjoy the site and always welcome feedback. TOWERS

These are towers around where I live and ring you can navigate around the page by going to the map and clicking on the icons or select from a list of towers. I have also included a list of Devon Towers with my own personal rating, I emphasise the word personal as every one is entitled to an opinion. Seriously it may help you if you are coming to the area to pick out some of the better towers.

COMPOSITIONS

A Selection of compositions mainly peals - I have a section on Devon name methods as well as a selection of compositions in standard and not so standard methods.

MP3 PAGE

MP3 is an excellent format for passing information on the net. I have added some files of ringing from Devon towers and in particular call change ringing. You can get MP3 players off the web.

HUMOUR

A bit of humour some of which is vaguely linked to ringing

COMPUTER PROGRAMMES

I am a great fan of MicroSiril but it has limitations here are a couple of small programmes which can work with files output from Msiril. They are rough but work, do with them as you will and they come with no guarantees.
